We are growing to serve you better! Basin Transit is excited to announce several service improvements across the Morongo Basin, including more weekend trips to Palm Springs and improved local route timing.
Route 15: From the Basin to Beyond
Our premier regional route is getting a major upgrade to help you reach the Coachella Valley and beyond.
- More Weekend Trips: We have doubled our weekend service! Enjoy four outgoing and four returning trips every Saturday and Sunday.
- New Stop at Walmart: Route 15 will now stop at the Yucca Valley Walmart, making your shopping trips more convenient than ever. (Note: Full regional fares still apply for all Route 15 stops).
- The World is Closer: With expanded times, you can now easily connect to FlixBus in Palm Springs for travel to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.
Route 1: Smoother Evening Commutes
We’ve listened to your feedback! We are updating our evening timepoints to create a more seamless experience.
- No More Gaps: We have eliminated the hour break in the evening schedule, providing a continuous flow of service so you can get home sooner.
Route 7A: Serving the New Aquatic Center
We are adjusting our path to support the community’s newest amenities.
- New Route Path: Route 7A will now travel North on Palm Avenue instead of Grand Avenue. This change allows us to provide direct service to the upcoming Aquatic Center!
